Early spring painting ( Guo Xi )
Guo Xi is one of the biggest names in the culture of the Song Dynasty. Born and raised in Henan Province, Xi was a man of extraordinary training, court official, a theorist of painting whose book “The powerful message of the forest and the rivers’ influence on several generations of painters.
